Mikvah Construction
Mikvah construction and renovation
New mikvaos and mikvah renovations, built to the specifications of your rav.
Few buildings matter more to a kehilla than its mikvah. Every detail has to be right, in halacha and in construction, and the finished space has to feel clean, calm and private.
ELC Construction builds and renovates mikvaos for communities across Rockland County, Orange County and the Catskills. We have worked with Mikvah USA, and we build to the specifications of the rav or posek your kehilla chooses, working closely with him from the plans to the final walk-through.
Whether you call it a mikvah, mikveh or mikva, or you are planning a new mikvah or renovating an existing one, we would be glad to talk it through.
What we do
New mikvaos
Ground-up mikvah buildings and additions to an existing shul or building, coordinated as one project with one contact.
Mikvah renovations
Updating preparation rooms, finishes, plumbing, ventilation and accessibility in an existing mikvah, planned so it can reopen as soon as possible.
Preparation rooms
Private, comfortable preparation rooms with durable tile, good ventilation and finishes that are easy to keep spotless.
Working with your rav
The halachic requirements come from your rav. We build to his specifications and keep him involved at every stage that touches the mikvah itself.
Built right the first time
A mikvah is not a place for guesswork. Before work starts, the plan is reviewed with your rav and your design team.
During construction you have one contact who coordinates every trade, from excavation and concrete to plumbing, tile and finishes, and keeps the vaad informed as the work moves along.

Do you build to our rav’s requirements?
Yes. The halachic specifications come from the rav or posek your kehilla chooses. We build to them and keep him involved at every stage that affects the mikvah.
Can you renovate an existing mikvah?
Yes. We renovate preparation rooms, finishes and building systems, and plan the work to keep the time the mikvah is closed as short as possible.
Where do you build mikvaos?
Throughout Rockland County, including Monsey, Spring Valley and New Square, as well as Orange County and the Catskills. Call us to talk about your location.
